GEORGE R. KINGSLEY

George, a gradute of UCLA law school has been licenced to practice law in the state of California since 1965.  He has been lead counsel in over 100 jury trials and  arbitrations.  He has obtained several million dollar verdicts and settlements.

George's practice is primarily personal injury with about 40% of his practice in insurance bad faith.  His insurance bad faith practice primarily concentrates on long term disability claims.  He handles both individual claims as well as group claims under ERISA.  These cases are highly complex typically ending up in federal court.  George has years of experience so that he can manage the minefields typical of a federal practice.

In additon to the LTD claims he handles other types of insurance claims from auto to homeowners and even earthquake.  In the aftermath of the Northridge earthquake, George was successful in obtaining large settlements from some major insurers in the state.  These settlements were confidential.

In personal injury, George has had much success including numerous high dollar settlements and verdicts.  Over his career he has dealt with exotic issues including a rat infestation case, invloving a rare disease leptospirosis that went to trial.  The result was 1,535,000 for the plaintiff.
